How to Create Your Map in 6 Simple Steps

Mappler Lite makes creating interactive maps easy. Follow these steps to transform your data into a powerful visual tool in minutes.

Log in to Your Account

Access your Mappler Lite dashboard by logging in with your credentials at app.mappler.com.

If you don't have an account yet, you'll need to create one first.

Click "Add Site" Button

From your dashboard, locate and click the blue "Add Site" button to begin creating a new map.

Choose a Template

Select the template that best fits your needs from the dropdown menu.

Click the map icon to set your map's initial center position and zoom level.

Link Your Google Sheet

Enter the URL of your Google Sheet that contains the data you want to display on your map.

  • Has location data (addresses, coordinates)
  • Is publicly viewable
  • Has column headers in the first row

Name Your Map

Give your map a descriptive name in the "Site Name" field and add an optional description.

This information will be displayed to users viewing your map.

Create Your Map

Review all information, then click the "Add" button to generate your interactive map.

Your map will be created immediately and will appear in your dashboard.

Google Sheet Requirements

Your Google Sheet must include:

  • At least one column with location data (address, latitude/longitude)
  • Column headers in the first row
  • Public sharing enabled or shared with service account

Supported Data Types

Mappler Lite can plot locations using:

  • Full addresses (street, city, state)
  • Latitude and longitude coordinates

After creation, you can further customize your map by:

  • Changing marker styles and colors
